Bootcamp in session...

Emma working hard to put her own twist on the LO's...so nice to meet you Emma and thanks for coming!
Laura was so prepared...she left with all 20 LO's complete with photos.
Karen...hard at work titling her 20th LO about a FISH!! :)
These were just some of the photos from our fun filled night at K2 Scrapbook Studio...bootcamp was in session from 4pm till 12midnight! By 10 we had all the LO's complete (minus the titles and other cricut embellishments), then we spent the last 2 hours of class titling our LO's and embellishing them. I think I stood up to my name of "bootcamp instructor"... the favorite quote of the night "You have 2 minutes to finish this LO and then we are moving on!!"
Honestly though...who goes to a crop and goes home with 20 LO's completed???
The class cost 65.00 and we have 2 kits left...so if you are interested in one, call the store today and reserve it 941-926-1744. The kit comes with 20 sketches, 22 pieces cardstock (2 extra for cricut titling and embellishments), 10 pieces of double sided patterned paper, a bag of buttons, at least 7 yards of ribbon, stamps, tags as well as a link to color pictures of each completed LO and more...

LO bootcamp need to know!

For all my bootcampers on friday night I wanted to share with you a list of supplies you will need to bring to class.
  • Cricuit with the "Home Decor" and "School Book" font cartridges. (if you have one, if not you can use the store one...just remember their are 10 people trying to use it at once) Rita, I am bringing yours to class so no worries!
  • Xyron machine or an adhesive you are going to use on the backs of all your cricut letters and embellishments we cut out that night
  • a red/burgandy a blue and a gold/tan glimmer mists
  • inks for inking the edges
  • FYI...you will only have about 30-45 minutes for dinner on friday night cause we are going to be sooooo busy! :) (I am bringing my dinner with me!)
Below is a list of optional items I added to my LO's that are not included in the kit
  • red bling (blue or black would work too)
  • 1 inch silver rimmed tag
  • manilla tag
  • a few stickers (I used a green "best of times" one and a red "So In love" jelly sticker.
Here is the link to my picassa photo album with all the LO's. The LO's were uploaded backwards, so the the first one you see is actually the last one we will be doing...the blue one of Charlotte is actually #1 (just in case you wanted to get your pictures in the right order) :)
I am so excited to see everyone friday night!

K2 January Challenge

...well, I guess the holidays got the better of me when it came to this blog...I think this is the longest I have gone without posting since I started.

Anyway, to start the New Year with a fun challenge I wanted to get a jump start on things...so I challenge you to do the same. You can interpret this challenge the best way it fits you!! The "official" challenge is to create something in preparation of the year to come. It can be a card...a layout...a mini album...whatever will help you feel more prepared this coming year!

I dug into my stash found a chipboard album that had been ignored for years, a line of paper that I was "saving for just the right project" :) and gathered embellishments from a couple different companies. In the end, I created a mini album waiting to be filled with photos of my friends from this coming year.

Have fun with this one... can't wait to see what you all create.
