The starting of my first quilt

Cutting out the quilt...35 large squares and 140 small ones.

The three threads I found that match my fabrics perfectly.

Sewing each small square to the corners of the large ones...

Ironing, ironing and more ironing...

Laying out the quilt in the order I wanted each square.
What a fun and crazy first attempt at a quilt. I am loving the colors of fabrics I found (which by the way, were all from Wal-Mart).

Looks like a lot of work but well worth it! Love the finished product. I want to make one of these someday out of my daughters old dresses. Probably should learn to sew first ha! Nice job!!
