Boys will be boys

Riley and Brody having so much fun playing in the rain. Then they found the hose and used it to make an even bigger mud puddle to play in at Nanna and PopPop's house. They were pretending to make discoveries in the mud... One of the sweetest things was a conversation I overheard. Riley was explaining to Brody "the rules" of friendship/brotherhood and it was really great to see them talk out how they wanted their relationship to work. It's times like these that you have to smile and know that all the things you are trying to instill in them are actually being heard...and applied.

I was so glad that Charlotte and I could come and cheer Brody on. He was so proud to be in the Bike a Thon and on top of that to earn a medal just make his day. It was fun to see Tristen and Brighton riding their bikes too.
