I can hardly believe that my baby turned one today.
What could be better than hot cocoa, York peppermint patty's, and all your craft stuff surrounding you!

My paper tree made from Basic Grey Figgy Puddin line. I attached pom poms around the bottom and some trims around the top. I have it displayed on an upside down tea cup! TFL
On the Friday after Thansgiving I spent the evening with some girls over at K2 for some real Scraptherapy. I was able to relax after taking care of the family all day. I spent some time organizing the rest of my digi stuff and and the rest of the time making this digi LO! TFL

We are decorating the STUDIO for the holidays and we want YOU to help. This weeks challenge is to make an ORNAMENT for our Christmas tree using your scrapbooking supplies. This challenge will continue till Christmas. (Don't forget to put your name in the jar when you drop off your ornament!) My ornaments are made from wooden spools.

a special life can be taken from you. I am so sad. I got a call saying that my dear Grandma Gladys passed away this morning. She had been in the hospital the last couple of days and I just spoke with her on the phone the night before last. She sounded good, but she told me that she was ready...I guess her body agreed with her. I miss you so much Grandma and can't wait for the day that I see you in heaven. Love you.

By Saturday I was in need for a night out. We had a weddding we were going to and I was very excited. The wedding was at the Manasota Beach Club in Englewood. What an amazing place. I can't wait to go back just to spend the night there. Picture a couple of 1950's beach bungalows, surrounded by oak trees, a few short steps from the beach. The wedding was so much fun, I danced with Lori the whole night while Sean and Ryan sat there laughing at us. Great fun. Tired and exhausted today I hung out at home with the boys, and now I am going to dinner for my birthday with Tomi and Elena....like I said before...a perfect ending to a crazy week. 
Then join me over at Dragon Flaire Studios (DFS) on Saturday. We are having a Spa Retreat with amazing give aways each hour!!!! From 12pm till 9pm we will be having a different DT member or guest "celebrity" leading a chat in our chat room. Some of the chats will be tutorials on how to create cards, altered journals and some of the chats will talking about inspiration, we even have a tutorial on zen scrapbooking...a how to include more relaxation into your scrapbooking routine. Does all that sound like fun??? Then head on over to DFS register today so on Saturday you can just log in and chat away, all the while making beautiful items. We are a big hybrid site so all you traditional scrappers come on over and play too! Hope to see you there.

My friend Jocie sent me an e-mail last week showing me the cutest etsy store item...anyway, she knew it would be right up my alley and boy was she right!! So instead of buying I decided to make them. Look at how cute my button flowers turned out!! Don't know if you can see, but the stems are stuck into my big jar of buttons.

I received my first kit from Paper Jam Studios (see the link on my sidebar) on Monday and it was "jam packed" with goodies from Piggy Tales. The 2 LO's are some of my fav's I have made in a while. The rub on's are amazing-I love them!!! They also came out with this new product called "barn doors" which are cardboard flaps to add dimension to your pages, very cool. All the above items are made with the "little miss muffett" line of papers, rub ons, ribbon, and letter/number stickers.
